15. Total Fury "Committed to the Core" 10" EP

Total Fury fucking rips! D.C. style hardcore played with much more intensity by small Japanese men. This is the follow up to their amazing LP on Dan Doh(later reissued on Gloom). Maybe not as good as the 13 song LP but still a standout in the thrash revival. This EP was originally issued as a 7" for their US Tour then reissued as a 1 sided 10" with an etching on the B-side.

14. Holy Molar "S/T" Picture Disc 10"

Another release from super-group Holy Molar. I guess this is better than the "live" 7"... But I really don't have anything interesting to say about this. Lots of synths, madman drumming, Mark McCoy's signature spewing of words and three members of the Locust. You probably already knew all of this though.

13. Bucket Full of Teeth "III" EP

The dramatic conclusion. Much more experimental diving further into the use of synths and soundscapes in favor of formulaic structure. (Also look into their 12" on Level Plane appropriately named "IV".)

12. Bucket Full of Teeth "II" EP

Part II. Mostly more of the same. A bit slower this time and only 8 songs.

11.Bucket Full of Teeth "I" EP

Part I in this trilogy of EPs from ex-Orchid and future Cancer Kids members. 14 tracks of ferociously intense "grindcore" that caters to the art school dropouts in all of us. This is brutal and seemingly overlooked nowadays.

10. Mein Comp Compilation EP

A who's who of American hardcore circa 2003. Features one track each from Knife Fight, Fourteen or Fight, Limp Wrist, The Oath, Punch In The Face, J.B.A., Tear It Up, Gate Crashers, Reagan SS & Last In Line. One of the better comp EPs, but comps still suck.

09. Nazti Skinz "Sic Semper Tyrannis" EP

Nazti Skinz was a short lived southern California band featuring former/future members of such bands as The Locust, Le Shok, Wrangler Brutes, Fast Forward and more. They only played five shows ever, only wrote six songs, and released just this one EP limited to 500 copies before disappearing back into the shithole scene they crept out of.

08. Ruination S/T EP

Yet another reissue, this one originally pressed as a 7" by the band themselves. Ruination was a hardcore supergroup of sorts. Comprised of ex-members of The Swarm, Charles Bronson, MK-Ultra, Bloodpact, etc etc etc... Eight tracks of blistering pissed hardcore fury. Smash your face to this one.

07. Virgin Mega Whore "The Door Knob of San Diego" EP

Perverse art punk from Mark McCoy and Jeff Jelen of Charles Bronson fame. Simple punk songs laced with keyboards, snotty vocals and samples from porno flicks, SS Decontrol records and even Ian Mackaye yelling "Do you fucking get it?" at the completion of the A side. Do you fucking get it?

06. Jellyroll Rockheads "Kill Trend Thrash" EP

The demo tape of this amazing Japanese hardcore band put to vinyl. Eight tracks of insane riffs and manic vocals. Their best release by far, but the others are still better than most of the shit that came out around this time period.

05. The Bad Form "No More Neo New Wave" EP

Four tracks of snotty bluesy garage punk from four New Jersey degenerates. The Bad Form's second and best effort. Brings to mind The Stooges etc.

04. Holy Molar "Live at the San Diego Metropolitan Correctional Center" EP

Despite the obvious handicaps of being a fake live record, containing members of The Locust & having a fucking chicken on the cover, this record really isn't all that terrible. Six tracks of that bizarre brand of hardcore that could only come from San Diego in 2002. Weird keyboards & metal riffage from The Locust members, Mark McCoy of every band ever on vocals and the amazing Ron Anarchy on drums. This is worth a spin about every leap year.

03. Long Live Nothing S/T LP

Youth Attack's first long player. Heavy hardcore with some metal tinges. LLN formed from the remains of the even lesser known Edgeucate. Also featuring an ex-member of Charles Bronson on bass, and one member went on to be in some arena tech metal band. Who cares?

02. Social Coma S/T EP

Another reissue, this one originally on NAT Records of Japan. Fifteen tracks of grinding thrash hardcore flying by in 11 minutes. Members of a bunch of Chicagoland basement bands. Contains female vocals that don't suck too. huh.

01 1/3. The Oath S/T EP

The debut vinyl slab from internation success story The Oath, better known as Das Oath. Eight tracks of stolen riffs and social commentary from ex-members of Charles Bronson, Devoid of Faith and Mainstrike amongst other lesser known 90's hardcore acts.

01 1/6. Charles Bronson "Complete Discocrappy" 2xCD

120+ song how to manual for teenage self destruction and hatred of the universe.

01. Charles Bronson S/T EP

Youth Attack's humble beginnings. This is the fourth pressing of the debut 7" ep from Dekalb wolfpack Charles Bronson, originally released by Six Weeks in 1994. The Youth Attack pressing came housed in a nicer sleeve and on colored vinyl. Classic 1990's thrash masterpiece.
